MovoGo US is a joint venture between MovoGo Denmark and Rune and Christopher Christensen, who run the US operation from Texas.
The reason it is structured that way is simple. The software is proven — it runs rental businesses in Europe every day, and it was built by people who ran one themselves. But software from six thousand miles away is worth very little to a yard in Houston if nobody picks up the phone.
So the platform comes from Denmark, and the people you deal with are here. Rune and Christopher are Texas residents. They answer the phone, they run the demos, and they are the ones who show up when something needs sorting out.
