Plant hire across the UK. One contact, one invoice.

Stop ringing six hire desks to get one machine to site. Send MovoGo your kit list — we source it, manage delivery and off-hire, and you get a single invoice. You deal with one person: Tomas, our founder.

New to the UK — founding customers get Tomas's direct number.

01You send the requirement. Machine, site postcode, dates. Form, email or phone — whatever's fastest for you.
02We source and confirm. We find the kit, agree the rate, and confirm delivery to your site. You approve before anything is committed.
03We run the hire. Delivery, on-hire paperwork, photo condition reports, off-hire and collection — tracked on our own rental platform, visible to you. One consolidated invoice.

One machine to site shouldn't take six phone calls.

Ringing round for availability

You need a telehandler by Thursday. So you ring one yard, then another, then a third — chasing who's actually got one free and who's just saying they'll call back.

A stack of invoices at month end

Different machines, different yards, different terms — and every one lands as a separate invoice your office has to reconcile before you can bill the job.

Chasing off-hire and damage charges

You called it off last Tuesday. The yard says Thursday. A damage charge appears you can't picture. Nobody has a photo, so it comes down to whose word wins.

How it works

01

You send the requirement

Machine, site postcode, dates. Form, email or phone — whatever's fastest for you.

02

We source and confirm

We find the kit, agree the rate, and confirm delivery to your site. You approve before anything is committed. TODO(tomas: quote-turnaround guarantee, e.g. "within X working hours").

03

We run the hire

Delivery, on-hire paperwork, photo condition reports, off-hire and collection — tracked on our own rental platform, visible to you. One consolidated invoice. TODO(tomas: invoicing cadence — per hire or monthly consolidated?).

We're a broker. Here's the deal.

We buy hire at trade rates from suppliers and charge you a margin on top. You don't pay us a fee — the price we quote is the price you pay, margin included.

Two commitments:

  • TODO(tomas: commitment 1, e.g. "we tell you our margin if you ask").
  • TODO(tomas: commitment 2, e.g. "no hidden transport/fuel/damage-waiver surprises — every line is on the quote").

Most hire brokers won't put this on their website. We think that's exactly why you should ask them.

The bit no broker with a phone and a spreadsheet can copy.

The service isn't run on goodwill and sticky notes. Every hire we broker runs on the rental platform we built — which is why the operation stays tight.

Photo condition reports, in and out

Every machine is photographed on delivery and on collection. When a damage charge is questioned, there's a time-stamped picture — not a phone argument.

Live hire status in one place

What's on site, what's on the way, what's due off — visible to you without ringing round to find out.

Digital off-hire with a timestamp

You call a machine off and it's logged to the minute. "I called it off last Tuesday" stops being a dispute and starts being a record.

One clean invoice

However many yards supplied the kit on your site, you get a single invoice from us — not a pile to reconcile.

It's the same evidence approach we wrote up in our guide to pre-hire condition reports. The inspection flow behind it is the same one covered on our hire inspection software page.

In Denmark, this already runs day-in, day-out.

In Denmark, this model already runs day-in, day-out on our platform. The UK launch runs on the same platform, the same process, and the same margin transparency — just with a founder answering the phone.

The broker model you just read about — one contact, one invoice, transparent margin — runs on MovoGo's rental platform. We're looking for people who want to run their own hire brokerage on it.

You bring the local relationships and the phone manner. We bring the platform, the back-office admin — quoting, invoicing, supplier coordination — and the playbook from the Danish operation. You're starting your own business, but you're not starting alone.

TODO(tomas: commercial arrangement to state publicly — licence, revenue share, or nothing yet).

What contractors ask before they send a kit list.

A plant hire broker sources plant and site kit from a network of suppliers on your behalf, so you place one order and deal with one contact instead of ringing multiple hire desks. MovoGo's version runs on our own rental platform, and the margin we add is stated plainly rather than hidden. That means one invoice across many yards, photo evidence on every hire, and a price you can check. See our glossary on cross-hire for how brokers move kit between suppliers.

A plant hire broker charges you nothing directly — MovoGo buys hire at trade rates and adds a margin, and the quoted price is the price you pay with that margin included. There's no separate fee, retainer or membership. If you want to know the margin on a given hire, ask us and we'll tell you.

A national hire company sells you its own fleet; a broker is independent and sources from whichever supplier fits your job. That independence means we're not pushing one yard's kit, you get one invoice across many suppliers, and every hire carries a photo condition report as evidence. When our own network can't beat a direct rate, we'll tell you.

MovoGo sources plant hire nationally across the UK, and delivery to your site depends on which supplier is nearest. Send us the postcode and we'll confirm what we can get there and when before anything is committed. TODO(tomas: any regions you'd exclude at launch?).

At off-hire you tell us the machine is finished and we log it with a timestamp, then arrange collection with photo evidence of the machine's condition. If a damage charge is ever raised, it's settled against the photos taken in and out — not against whose memory is better. That's the whole reason the service runs on our own platform.

You deal with Tomas, MovoGo's founder — not an account-management queue. Because we're new to the UK, founding customers get his direct number and he quotes the first hire personally. If something's slow or wrong, you tell him and he fixes it.

Yes — you can run your own hire brokerage on MovoGo's platform, bringing the local relationships while we provide the platform, back-office admin and the playbook from the Danish operation. It's your own business, but you're not building the systems from scratch. Read more on becoming a broker below, or on how to start an equipment rental business.
